CHEAP THRILL ALERT CONTINUES FOR MONDAY NIGHT AND TUESDAY..STILL NO CLEAR PICTURE ON WHAT IS HAPPENING!
Maybe I should make it a thrill alert because cheap or otherwise for snow lovers this is the best we are going to be able to do given the current state of the atmosphere.
Afternoon NAM model has a pretty decent wave that develops on the front. The first map is 10am Tuesday. So in the nam’s view the wave is slower and continues much more robust than the other models. It also brings measurable snow to just south of New York City. It shuts out Easterh Pennsylvania north of Allentown. IF it is right with its precip then it could be a 4 inch or so snowfall from Philadelphia south to Delaware and Southern New Jersey.
Needless to say the alert stays up since I dont quite believe anything the models are telling us with regards to this. Will wait for the models to come to some sort of consensus on this. The nam would also make for a very cold New Years Eve with many places struggling to get out of the 20s and lower 30s.
