Venison Kielbasa and Venison Knockwurst Jambalaya

This recipe does wonders for your taste buds an absolutely fantastic recipe and surprisingly easy to make. A great dish to impress your friends on  football Sunday and not to mention its a great way to prepare venison!

Ingredients:

1 onion dicedIMG_20150420_121235297 (360x640)
1 green pepper diced
4 cloves of garlic minced
1 stick of butter
1 pound venison sausage
2 venison knockwurst (or bratwurst)
1 cup of long grain rice
1/2 cup potatoes diced
1/8 cup cilantro chopped
1 can diced tomato
Salt
Pepper
2 cups water

Directions:

In a large pot melt 1 stick of butter on low heat, add onion, green pepper and  garlic salt and pepper and saute about 3 min then add kielbasa and water and cilantro and boil on medium low for 1 hour, then add tomatoes and potatoes and 1cup of rice simmer on medium low for about 20 min and then simmer on low and covered for another 20 min until rice is soft.

In a medium skillet steam the knockwurst in your favorite beer for 40 min, slice and lay on top of jambalaya and sprinkle cilantro for garnish
